I’ve been caring for pets and providing dog-sitting services for more than 25 years. What started as an afternoon thing grew into something much more meaningful — a way to spend my days doing what I love while caring for animals and the people who love them.

In 2017, I officially started Pet Care by Cynthia. Then COVID changed everything. With people staying home and travel coming to a stop, the business understandably took a toll.

But one never forgets their first love.

I came back because this is what I care about. This is what I love.

Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs, cats, birds, lizards, and plenty of other wonderful personalities. I probably have close to a hundred selfies with the pets I’ve cared for — and I treasure every one of them.

Because somewhere along the way, they stop being “clients.”

They become friends.

Every pet has their own personality, their own routines, and their own little quirks. I love getting to know them, earning their trust, and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their people are away.

Those friendships are what warm my heart — and they're the reason I'm still doing this.
